I am looking for birth records for Joseph Nathaniel Moore. Born 15 September 1863 in Linden, Tennessee. I have not been able to locate parents for him, although I have been told his father was Johnny Frances Moore, who died in the Civil War on the Tennessee River near Erie. Also, cannot find Erie, TN, but believe it could have been Erin. Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated. I am the great granddaughter of J.N. Moore. I can be reached directly at
