Confederate Graves

I have recently obtained documentation of some of my GGGrandfather's civil war records. He lived in Bedford and/or Franklin counties on all documentation I have for him. Based on his Widow's Pension, she listed his date of death as 08-09-1899. No state or county listed. I am beginning my search in these two counties. His Widow listed Franklin Co as her residence on the census of 1900. I do understant that the State of Tennessee did not keep death records until 1908. Does anyone know of any Confederate organization in Middle Tennessee that may keep records of the burial place for their Confederate Veterans? I would appreciate any direction. My personal email is: deb@dusenbury.org

Thank You!
