Perry Copas Beer Joint

I am looking for any information about the Perry Copas Beer Joint (I am not sure if that was the official name). Based on an newspaper article (1948) it was located near Mile's Cross Roads in Clay County. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I live on the Bakerton Rd in the west end of Clay County. My mother says that this was up the road from here about a mile.
