I am looking for information on the 1924 shooting death of Sheriff Vanus B. Spear. The only information I can find is that he was shot and died, but I would like to know the details; the reason for the shooting, the shooter, and the aftermath. The shooting ocurred at the Butler's Landing Schoolhouse in Clay County, Tennessee.
