James Baxter Davis - Clarksville TN

I am researching James Baxter Davis. Trying to find his parents. Here is what I know.

James Baxter Davis
born: 09Sep1832 in Clarksville, Montgomery Co., TN
died: 08Feb1887 in Clarksville, Montgomery Co., TN

married: Nancy Jane Orrell on 15Apr1859 in Clarksville, Montgomery Co., TN
The widows pension records show that they had 6 children, 4 boys and 2 girls. The boys were James R., Charles H., John M., and Edward T. I know one of the girls was Hettie J. However I have found the other girl called many names, such as Alma, Mary, and Ellen. All of the children were born in Clarksville.

James's Civil War records show that he was in the 49th Co. A Tennessee Infantry. He enlisted in Clarksville on 29Nov1861 and was paroled as a prisoner of war on 1May1865.

His obituary states that he was a bricklayer. He is buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville in an unmarked grave. There are 8 graves in the plot that James owned. They include James, Nancy (his wife), Ellen Davis Reese (I think may he their daughter), James Morris, Charles Taylor, Helen Taylor, ?? Shepard. The gentleman at Greenwood Cemetery said he thinks the other grave was never used.

Thank you for any help.
