Maness Schoolhouse

I am looking for information on the Maness Schoolhouse in Henderson County. It stood in what is now Natchez Trace State Park on Brown's Creek Lake Road, beside the enterance to George Trail. This school was built over the Altom Family Cemetery in the 1920's. It is not known how long it stood or when it was destroyed. In 1991, members of the Altom family went to the park rangers and informed them of the graveyard. The site of the school, which was gone by that point, was restored. Radar detector was used to locate the graves and concrete blocks were used as markers. Trees were removed and a fence and sign were placed at the cemetery. There is not much information on the school though. A man named Cova Lewis or his wife Donna may have been the teacher there at some time. There are not any photos of the school or any classes there, and we don't know of any students who attended there. Any information would be appreciated.
