Seeking parents or death/burial information. Sons moved to GA & AL, but daughters married James Ray, Henry Staunton, and Samuel Dotson. Rebecca and children censused in 1850 in Washington Co. Thanks for any lead.

I do not have info on ancestors of Rebecca Bowman Haswell, but believe that Rebecca Bowman Haswell and Benjamin Haswell had a son William B. Haswell who was killed in the Civil War in June of 1862. He was my Great-Great Grandfather. I would appreciate any info that you may have on ancestors.

Thanks!
Kathy

I have no new information. William B. Haswell likely died near Richmond VA in the battle of Seven Pines, a terrible slaughter which did not result in many marked burials. His brother, John Riley Haswell, farmed in Hooker Community, Dade Co GA, from 1868-1930, which is the starting point of my earlier searching.
