Daniel T. COVINGTON b. 1832 in Richmond County, N.C. d. after 1864 in Carroll County District 9 m. Emily GREER b. 1834 in TN d. 1880 in Carroll County District 9, TN. I cannot find any record of Daniel COVINGTON'S death, whether from illness or as a Civil War casualty. The only record I find of Emily GREER'S marriage is to DAVID T. COVINGTON in 1853 in Carroll County, TN. They had 5 children:
