Hi Ginny,
If you would email your address to me I will send a copy of the photo I think is Lindsay and Mary. I included my email address in an earlier post. I would also like a copy of Mary's death certificate. Your trip sounds great---I would so like to visit that area. Have you been to Cooper's View cemetery? There is a stone dedicated to John and Hester there. Another document you might

I think I have the photo you are referring to--Josie is a little girl sitting next to Iris Goldstone. There are a couple of other little girls beside them in the front row and then some girls in their pre-teens or early teens, all wearing hats and looking very pleased with themselves. Are you the Virginia who has posted about Cooper photos? So nice to meet another cousin : )

Hi Ginny,
It sounds as though we may have some of the same photos. I have another one that I think is Lindsey and Mary with some other people all standing in front of a house. I am happy to share it with you. My email is kay.dukeman@sbcglobal.net. The one little girl sitting

You are absolutely right about the book not being written by Caty Sage. I meant to say "about" and had a brain cramp. I believe there are two books about Caty. One was written by Bonnie Sage Ball who also wrote March of the Sages. I have not read either book yet---need to make some time : ) Have you read them--do you recommend one over the other?

And to all the Coopers and Gaylors out there, I am still hoping for some photos. I am looking for Lindsey Cooper, his wife, Mary Gaylor, and Joseph W. Cooper also know as Old Coalfield Joe. Hi cousin,
I too am descended from Lindsey and Mary. My ggf was Lindsey's son, Joseph Cooper who married Mary Anne Honeycutt. While I have a very early picture of Mary Anne, I have no pictures of Joseph, Lindsey or Mary Gaylor. If you come across some I would so appreciate a copy.
