Joseph M Rogers, son of Joseph Rogers, Jr. - 9 years ago

I have been attempting to verify that my great-grandfather, Joseph M. Rogers, was the son of Joseph Rogers, Jr., of Rogersville, TN. Unfortunately I have been unable to locate any birth records. The only information I have is that he was born in Faxon, Benton County, on Jan. 22, 1833, rather than in Hawkins County, which by itself is not dispositive. I know that Joseph Rogers Jr., died on June 1
